I would feel wastefull too if I let it all go =P. Just because an RO/DI unit rejects water, doesnt mean theres anything wrong with it....at that point its just tap water. Its usefull for just about anything that tap water is. If you have well water by chance, you could possibly have the excess drain into your well.
Question here, not trying to hijack your thread...but if a 90gpd unit has a rejection rate of 90%, does that mean that at the end of the day 900 gallons have passed through the unit and you now have 90 gallons of ro/di water left? or that 90 gallons have passed through the unit and you now have 9 gallons of ro/di water at the end of the day.
