I think u posted once that there was medical evidence or at least a question as to the safety of drinking RO/DI water (human consumption).
Could you elaborate? We have nasty tasting water and my RODI stuff tastes MUCH better!
Thanks in advance!

There's nothing wrong with drinking RO water. I see nothing wrong with drinking DI water but it is debateable.
Try a glass of water from the waste tube out of your RO. I think you'll be surprised at how good it is.

thats what i thought, but i know msd2 is a medical researcher, so i thought there might be some scientific evidence he had access to or knew about in his field.
of course, its entirely possible i misunderstood his post.
thanks Bang

RODI is still "WATER" without all the chlorine, flouride and other misc chemicals leftover or added after it is treated at a waste water treatment plant.

The debate over DI water is that when you drink it and ion exchange takes place different from other water. Actually it's not a true exchange because it's unilateral, from your body to the water.
I don't believe this exchange is significant enough to be a problem but I'm not a biologist nor a medical professional.
Did you try the waste water out of the RO yet??
