well i added a dwarf multi color angel to my 250 reef last week.today i bought a sweet potters.
also a mystery wrasse and achilles tang.
all3 are in qt now ,i hope i didnt mess up and think the angels will get along in the 250.there are plenty of hiding places in there .
anyone keep dwarfs together? my fish supplier has 4 dwarfs in his tank they get along fine but its 500 gallons.

We have had dwarfs together several times and never had a problem. One time we had an established coral beauty and added a pygmy angel, the coral beauty was really upset for about 1 hour and then got over it. Later we added a flame with the same coral beauty and he never even acknowledged that the flame was in the tank. Most recently in my husband's tank (56g) he added a lemonpeel and pygmy at the same time and everything was good. I doubt very much with a tank as large as yours that you will have any problems as long as they have plenty of hiding places.

yea i have read alot of posts that they get along.i dont know why the stores say they dont.same with tangs.

My tangs have always gotten along well also.

I just always figured I got lucky. Lots of things about my tanks have defied logic, but they seem to work so I'm okay with it.
FYI--I like your avatar--actually, the dog. Our neighbors have a mastiff also, his name is Winston, he is a great dog. Very laid back. I named my Niger Trigger after him

Hopefull they'll be alright. My potters is really peaceful. I did have a coral beauty one time who was a real mean sun of a gun though. But a 250 is a good size tank and like you said you have lots of rockwork. Anyway we can get a pick of the new multi colored?
Speaking of mastiff's. We just got a new addition to the family ourselves...

awesome puppy.i wish sometimes they would stay that small.he has that look in his eyes like dont touch my rope or else.
wel bad news ,i got home yesterday and found the multi color stuck to the overflow box.he was fine in the qt but as soon as he went to the dt he hid all the time so i dont know what happened to him.well dont have to worry about them getting along now.hopefully i have better luck with the potters.
