Again.. just because you do it doesn't make it "fine".

Hmm.. I think were beating up folks on the emotional state of a fish. I agree in principle that the biological health is best if conditions are acceptable. We must agree then that acceptable conditions are only the native environment as tangs are originally placed. We are though tank enthusiasts, and by nature, CRUEL to even have tanks in the first place. As an analogy I don't think children working in Thai sweatshops is an ACCEPTABLE environment.

Yeah, I'm sure my fish would be doing real well after I necropsied it. You don't have to cut a fish open to see that it's doing well. I've seen larger fish do well in much smaller systems (relative to fish size) - cobia, dolphin, snapper. And yes, I have done numerous necropsies in my day. We'll just have to disagree on this I guess. Have you ever actually ovserved a wild tang swimming on a reef? They aren't exactly zipping around at 100 mph. :happyfish

What? It's a fish, not a child. fish don't have emotions. If some of y'all actually believe that keeping fish in tanks is cruel, why did you get into the hobby to being with?

Good point Fishman. People need to relax a little. It seems that the Tang Police write more tickets on this site than I do at work!!!!!
