Are you putting liquid food into your water....like phytoplex or Microvert? Anemones can feed that way also.....and they do make their own food from the light they receive. Liquid food may sustain the anemone until he comes back out. Also, you can encourage him to move back out by changing the water movement where he is and where he came from - in other words, maybe if the water is "still" where he went, try to aim a powerhead where it moves the water more there - and where he came from make it opposite of what it is now....does this make sense? They move for many reasons - a big one being water movement.
And whoever said above that the pink is good is completely right. Sebae anemones particularly are often injected with white dye to make them very white somewhere between collection and sale at the store. Many lfs do not realize that the white is a sign that they are not in good shape and missing the zooanthella (sp?) that is so vital to their health. I have a seabae that my neighbor bought and he was almost completely white....she brought him to me in the hope that I and my halides could save him. He has nearly tripled in size and is BROWN now.....when my hubby gets home I'll see if he can take a pic and post it. Hopefully the site will show pics again soon - if not, pm me and I'll email you a pic..... Good luck with the seabae anyway - they are beautiful....
