Last night while I was staring at the tank.........
One of my Scarlet Hermits decided to drop off of one of the higher rocks right into the opening on my Squamosa Clam.
I tried to react as quickly as I saw it but, the Squammy closed up immediatley on the hermit. I put a little bit of pressure onto the shell trying to open it but, a 5" Squamosa is not going to budge with anything less than a backhoe.
The clam was closed up all night long and finally started to open up this morning.....not enough to where I could see anything though. I just called my wife at home ( I don't like working Saturdays by the way! ) and she said that the clam was nearly all the way open and most of it looked like it was sliced to pieces.
