salinity???

this is a stupid question i have had my reef for 2 years now and im just making sure what should my salinity be???
mine is (1.020

I believe for reef tanks the optimum is 1.025-1.026. Fish only can be run a bit lower to help kill parasites.

If your using a hydrometer, those can be off by quite a bit. So if you have used it for two years and haven't had any issues with inverts then I wouldn't go making huge changes. Get a Refractometer....
I keep mine at SG 1.025, Salinity 33 PPT - (My hydrometer reads SG 1.021 for this)

Mine is 1.025. If you're going to raise your salt level, make sure to do it slowly and gradually to avoid shock to your tank's inhabitants.
