salt drop

ive been keeping a record in my salinity levels and its dropped but stayed in the reccomended zones, should i be worried? :notsure:

Why did it drop are you putting too much top off water in?? Depends on how much it dropped if you should be worried and what you are keeping in the tank also depends on if you should be worried???need more info to help :joy:

Salinity level can only drop if fresh water is added. Most people's regular top-offs aren't significant enough to cause large swings, if any.

how long has your tank been going for, what size is it, how much of a drop, and what have you changed recently in your tank?

ive been doing it via Instant Ocean hydrometer and its dropped 0.002-0.003, its been goin bout 5 days, an its a 70gal*pant*pant* oh and i have changed nothing

Hydrometers are junk! Get yourself a refractometer and see what your salinity is at.
When I got my refractometer I found my salinity was way off.
IMO...One of the best purchases I ever made for my tank was a refractometer.
