Sand growing clumpy algae (pics)

I used tap in my first tank and I had nothing but issues with cyano and algae until I switched to distilled. I tried everything and switching to distilled was the only thing that worked.

don;t forget that fact that you have 2 tangs that are not suited for your tank

That would be a good idea...BUT.....you have to realize the tangs are not for your tank....

Check with your lfs, and see if they will trade you for something else....or people in your town....unless you live in a rinky dink place like me...LOLOL

one of my lfs said they wasent intrested in the naso bcuz it has no color and it would be hard for them to sell. And my blue tang has small holes on his head because I didnt know how to feed properly when I first got him. So if i get the naso some color I can give it to a LFS
