Sand on live rock

We literally just put the sand, water, and rock in our tank tonight. Now since we put the rock in when the water level eat at about 2/3 of our 55g tank, there is sand (sugar sized) over a lot of our rock. Should we get it off, or is this not a big deal? We don't have powerheads in yet.

NO Biggie.....you have plenty of time for the sand to "settle" while you cycle....and of course after you add the powerheads

A power head or even just waving your hand by it will get the sand off. It's not a big deal.

No problem. When I vacuumed my sand I kicked a little bit on a portion of LR and it did no harm and it still there. Don't worry.
