Anything that shows hairy toes should be outlawed.
Flip flops people make an annoying clap sound when walking or their pants get caught under them and the make a loud swish,swoosh slide type walk never truly picking their feet.
Thus sandals win.

Sandals, hands down. Toes are community creatures and should never have anything between them. This goes for those silly socks that are like gloves for your feet...

Flip Flops are the way to go. I have had several pairs of reefs over the last few years they are comfortable and IMO far more stylish.

The sandal pictured at the top definitely has a far more invasion big toe strap, then the thong bit on a flipflop....

Chacos are the best shoe ever made. I can go from church to the beach to the river up a mountain, on a bike or walk to a ball game. They are the all purpose shoe. Other than work that is all I wear.

Question though, what are these? Sandals or flip-flops? Obviously not thongs, but does a sandal have to have a part for the heel? These shoes certainly 'flip and flop' as much as flip-flops
