That's straight... I respect that you're a Heat fan, puffer. I would be too if I was from florida. But give the pistons some props...

Regular season records are great accomplishments.. Winning the championship is the greatest accomplishment.
I will remind you Flip Saunders lost seven...that's right seven FIRST round playoff series in a row with the Twolves. He has one of the lowest playoof winning percentages as a head coach in the nba and the TWolves have one of the lowest all-time winning percentages in the playoffs all-time. All playoff appearances for the Twolves were under Saunders.
The questions to be ansewered...
Can or has Flip Saunders figured out the NBA second season level of play?
Can his team's on court talent overcome his playoff coaching ability of inability?
There have been many good coaches in all of sports that have horrible playoff records.
Jim Mora Sr is a good example. He made sevaral playoff appearances but has never won an nfl playoff game. A pretty good coach that simply never could figure out the second nfl season and what it takes to advance through it.
Flip Saunders may have the potential to coach a team that will win a championship....but the definition of potential means he ain't done it yet...but he has failed several times to even win a series.
Talent will get you to the playoffs...and the combination of talent and coaching wins championships. Detroit obviously has one piece...but do they have the other?

There are a lot of coaches that haven't done it YET. Remember Larry Brown?

Kind of sounds like what people were saying when the pistons spanked the Lakers in the '04 finals...

Like I said, I respect other fans... I'm a die hard pistons fan... even during the lean years in the 90's. I'm sure we'll talk about this again...

Flip Saunders coaching ability in the playoffs questioned.....
Flip Flops?
by Britt Robson
May 3, 2004
But Saunders has not been nearly as sharp through the first two games of Minnesota's second-round match-up with the Sacramento Kings. (City Pages went to press before Monday night's game.) He was out-coached in the opener, a Wolves loss that deprived the team of home-court advantage, and very nearly blew Game Two with an assortment of questionable substitutions and personnel decisions.
