Whats weird is..
when i was transfering my livestock from my 75 gallon into my 250 gallon I missed my scooter in the 75. There was less than when inch of water and the sand that I was unable to scoop out 1/5 of an inch of sandbed.
My scooter survived in this enviroment for 1 week. No heater, no air circulation, no feeding. I figured he probably ate the remaining pods in the sand bed for that week.
I discovered him when I was dumping the remaining sand out. He started wiggling which scare the lights out of me. He is now alive and joined his mate in the 250.

It was fine until I got the longfin sleeper goby.......I think that had something to do with it....maybe the goby ate it....:(

I would have dropped anything that was in my hand too.
If it was in a 54 with no refugium then it might have straved, and the goby could have been causing stress. I would think it would have been a really large sleeper goby to eat a scooter blenny, but hay you never know...

Believe me I have pods all over in that tank...and it also ate frozen....I SAW IT :)
It may be a coincedence that it disappeared shortly after I got the goby...who knows

Scooter Dragonette

Two are similar species, one is 100% different in all aspects.. sure I can see why it wouldn't matter. </sarcasm>
Considering most people lose dragonettes because they think they are buying a "goby" or a "blenny" and don't know the half.

I see your point, but this falls kinda falls into the category of research before buying any kind of dragonette, blenny, goby, cat, dog, pencil...

+1, I have to feed my pencils full grown elephants six times a day! No wonder most people have trouble keeping them without doing the research.

Naming a species correctly is a part of research also.

True, but spelling those long names, makes us bad spellers look dumb. Not that we are....
