Last weekend I went to our cabin in GA. Left my tank to my bro. Filled him in on everything that needs to be done, without tryin to overwhelm him. Came back and my powerhead was pointing almost strait down. Blew the sand all over the place. I could have killed!

if i was your bro and saw sand flying everywhere i think i would have probably fixed it!! :jumping:

Better make sure they know how to test parameters!! Things can get wacky in the tanks in no time!! In a week, you never know what can change!! :notsure:

i;ll be doing about a 50% water change 2 days before i leave. The tank is really stable but figure that could prevent any nightmares!!!! thanks for the compliment by the way!!!!

I am sure your tank will be fine. Doesn't Vegas have a hotel with a huge tank in it? Start giving you sitter lessons of all the ---- that could go on, and your covered!

will share lots of fun pics. this will be the first trip my boss actually knows i'm going out of town, he lives in NY and i always have to sneak vacations. but i told him i nneded it this time!!! my mom's gonna take care of the tank. I think she's worthy!! she actually offered

Sounds like fun, will enjoy seeing those tank pics from Mirage! A mother is always worthy, and even better if she knows something about saltwater!! First time leaving you tank?

I am sure if she did a good job for you short trips, she will be able to handle a week with it. Now what do all us saltwater posters do when we have a problem for a week and have no who dey responses to answer the tough questions??

hehe! well let's hope there are no catastrophes!!! i'll have my laptop out there, i'm sure i will check, i am addicted to this site you know. i sit on my couch with my laptop, watch my tank, and tv, and wait for work to start in the am!!! thats the life right?? god i'm a dork!!LOL

Looks like there are lots of tank dorks just like you!!! The rest of us do just the same!! But if you are in Vegas and posting then we will begin to worry about ya!! Vacation is for relaxing, (gambling since Vegas) and enjoying whomever your with!!
