Not entirely true, a seahorse (healthy) can go two - three days without feedings. Especially if you have enough grass and live rock to cultivate pods for them to hunt in the tank.

To the first statement I disagree. I have had horses get stung by anemones while I was watching the tank and they're smarter than you might think. They will avoid things that sting once they figure out that its not a good place to hitch. What doesnt kill you only makes you stronger right? Same applies to seahorses. They're extremely fragile stereo type is somewhat exaggerated in my opinion.
To the second statement I agree completly.

Do you still have and help with seahorses? Looks like there has not been anything new posted on this forum for quite a while.

Wow, I never even knew this one existed. Look at all the old faces! (figuratively speaking, of course...) Schoolcop, come on over to the seahorse section

I sorta "chip in" regarding Syngnathids from time to time, however, a PM will bring me over if anyone needs specific help.
Between Cranberry and myself we have a good 15 or 20 years SH experience. We have bred erectus and reidi, as well as treated SH for various ailments. We also have experience with kuda and barbouri
as well as pipefish. Both of us have been global mods on a dedicated SH site for several years.
