Exactly, I think they are called independent women. Hopefully the unexpected will happen shortly. My state decided to do a turn over of jobs from contract to full time and I have four interviews next week for my job and several others. I could use the change of pace.

:) Hi orion7. I feel for ya. I'm there myself, except I'm female. I get a lot of grief from my family for not dating right now. They just want me married and havin babies. Ya, I want that, but I am not in any hurry. I'm only 25, and have plenty of time. I'm just buisy with life right now. I'm happy with my life, and I'm active doing stuff. I'll meet someone when the time is right. Like one of the previous posts said, it will happen when you least expect it. Thats always the way its happened for me in the past. I'm a country girl, and kinda cowgirlish, and it seems like I always get the guys that are city guys, not into campin, hikin, biking, fishin. Don't let your family or friends get ya down. It will happen in due time., alison:happyfish

Speaking of out of no where. Alison you are telling me the guys up there don't like to camp, hike, fish, and hunt. Amazing I heard Washington has some of the most bueatiful land to speak of. Side note I work for the Game and Fish, and wyoming has plenty of it. I love the outdoors! Guess they just don't know what they are missing do they.

:happyfish Amazingly ya, I seem to only get the city guys. You would be surprised that a lot of washingtonians don't take advantage of the beauty up here in washington. Seattle is a very big city, and I get a lot of seattle guys., alison

wait a minute, wait a minute. stop the bus!! dude, you proclaim the STEREOTYPICAL male to be some nancy boy that likes to clean, work 2 jobs, and complain that there's not enough single women in the dating pool???
oh dude.
dude, dude, dude. we can't have this. first off, there's ALWAYS plenty of great women in the dating pool. 2nd, i would like to propose RETURNING the stereotypical males to our beer guzzling, football watching, women chasing, --- crazed, control freaked, ego maniac selves. that's all the fun in being male.

im a male and i dont mind cooking or cleaning. i dont like sports (never watch them) and dont fish or hunt. i prefer intalecually stimulating hobbies like swf. i am the sterio type when it comes to things like cutting grass or re-building rooms in my house. my wife isnt really allowed to cut the grass and isnt interested in construction.

I have to say you have not met the right women yet, like it was mentioned before you will when you least expect it. I have been married 12 years and I am 32, husband is 31. Are first kid is on the way. It has been great. The right person will not mess with your reef tank, or make you take the picture of the dogs playing poker down. She will enjoy them with you.
Hang in there, quit looking and enjoy life you will meet someone when you are supposed to.

oh man. you've got a base down there too? and it's not that they'll take all yer women, they'll just scare em off. either that or they'll turn em into......well let's just say that if they're not scared off, they'll be pretty undesirable.
dude, you couldn't possibly be in a worse female situation. even people on remote islands can make fake chicks outt've volleyballs and stuff.

I'm a city guy, but I am way into biking, camping, climbing etc....Maybe you should'nt steotype all the city folk. Now if it is a sissy city dude, who does not like the outdoors...ahh screw them.
Orion, I feel you man. I have already been married, now I am divorced and enjoy being single way to much to rush into anything. Really why date? I am not looking to get married, why lead some poor chic on to the fact that it might go some where...when it won't. If I actually find a chic that I would like to date, then I'm sunk...cause that means attachment, feelings etc....:scared:
