Sexy Shrimp

I think I am getting a pistol shrimp and a goby for my new tank, but I like the little sexy shrimp, but will either a pistol shrimp or goby eat them

? They seem pretty small.

gobies like to grab any food thats passing by..... so if one of ur sexy shrimp decides to jump out in front of the goby for some reason...........it will get eaten.
my yellow watchman has depleted my population of 4 to 2... but over a span of over a year.... so id say do it.....
i didnt exactly see this happen, but counting everything else i have in the tank... my moneys on my yellow watchman goby

Hmm, sexy shrimp aren't exactly cheap shrimp, but I guess it will be worth a try.

If fed properly you should have no problem

just make sure that you have something that it can host on. Such as a type of euphilia (hammer coral, torch coral, frogspawn, or galaxea) When you take him out of the bag, place him directly on the host. If you don't, he will die.

Yea, I've heard that was big enough for a pistol shrimp and goby. I'm not sure if a sexy shrimp will go in there too, I might be pushing it then.

What kind of goby are you going to put in there?

Well, I've just ordered my pistol shrimp, should be here on Saturday, but I am thinking of yellow watchman, yasha, randals or two spot goby.

All those gobys need a bigger tank than a 3 gall...

I think he is sayin the need somethin to hide on/camaflouge to, thats why they swing their bodies around.

Yeah. Why wont you just set up a 10 gall tank??

Well, my 3 gallon is sort of up and running already and this is my first saltwater tank.. I am going to upgrade to a 12 gallon around May though. Also, I don't really have too much money on my hands to start a 10 gallon after just setting this up.

If you get the goby and if its small then you can get it because your going to upgrade in 2 months(may). I didn't know you were going to upgrade in 2 months. So, its all good.
