Shady spot for coral.. pic included

We always toss around the idea of a boxer for our next dog.. I wanted an Italian greyhound, but they're a little dainty and Oliver gets a little rowdy when he plays. So then I changed it to wanting a full sized greyhound lol. I don't care much as long as they are color coordinated. He's very good looking but I think he knows it, so he has some asshole tendencies when he's not being my baby. Just gotta kick the last few puppy habits.
It gets almost difficult to take pictures because of the yellow tang wanting to see whats up. One time I tried to take a series of shots to piece together for a detailed fts and I ditched it because someone was going to report me to the fish police for having 6 yellow tangs.. The same one, in every shot.
When we spot feed after the lights are out it's funny to see who wakes up to eat. The yellow tang and goby will stalk the feeder until they're satisfied, but the hippo wants nothing to do with it, and the clowns are pissed the frogspawn they host isn't inflated and we can see them. No idea where the six line sleeps..
Thanks about the aquascaping, it's worked out nicely for us and everything is happy and growing onto where ever they are so should be fun if we decide to rearrange anything.. Especially the sebae that wants to live side ways curled up on the glass with it's 5 inch foot attached to the bottom... Why doesn't it understand that it can't just do what it wants?

I like that picture. As far as the yellow tang, anyone who has owned one would understand it being in every picture. My yellow and powder blue do the same thing, the sailfin does sometimes depending on his mood. That is funny that your tang stalks the feeder and stops when he is satisfied--ours would never be satisfied, he would eat till he popped. I think you have to really like you aquascape before you add too many corals. I can't imagine the nightmare of rearranging the rocks after things had attached to them. I had a montipora that grew onto the rock, something fell behind the rock and it shifted when I was trying to get it out and broke the monti in pieces. I was not happy.
Our boxer, Gracie, would love Oliver, you can't play to rough for her. This is my 3rd boxer, I LOVE them but you have to have alot of patience the first 3 years. We also have a Great Dane. Hubbie came with a great dane and she died at 13 years old. We were all heartbroken. We knew we wanted another dog but wanted to wait awhile and didn't know if we wanted a dane or another boxer. I knew I didn't want a dane that looked like ours, would remind me too much of her. Anyway, we stumbled accross our current dane, she had been from a rescue and the new owner had unexpected family issues and couldn't keep her. We got her on her 1st birthday, she had 4 previous owners and had been abused by the first one. Our boxer loved her and we agreed to take her even though we weren't 100% sure we were ready for another dog and she looked very much like our dane (exact same pattern on her nose). We had her a couple of days and were looking thru her papers and realized she was our original dane's neice! Guess it was meant to be. That was 3 years ago now. We love her, she fits in perfectly, and we are really glad we got a rescue dog. It took alot of patience at first, esp. for my hubbie because she was afraid of him for a few months. He has the patience of a saint and won her over, she adores him now. Anyway....the point of this is think about a rescue dog, it can be a great experience. I'm sure Oliver would love a playmate.

Oliver was a rescue.. apparently they found him walking around the hood and now hes ours =) That's awesome how fate worked out and you got that dog, love then the world works in mysterious ways. If we had the space for it I wouldn't mind a great dane but that is A LOT of dog lol.
