so how do you keep the sand from falling to the lower level all the time?

Sweet tank, Cool to see someone doing it a tank like this. Doesn't seem to much harder to make then a regular tank but might need to be carful attaching the peices. And yes you could do it for a small tank. Thanks Spanko for sharing.

how do you all think they controll the water movement at the deep end?? do you think the circulation is adequit??

I've been looking around like crazy have not found one yet...
but i didnt find a shop with good prices on a 240 long for mybasement...i hope i can find one of these first

I would bet on a pc. of starboard or acrylic with sand glued to it. It does not look deep at all. Same with the deep end maybe.

I doubt you will find one. Bet you need to have one built.
