Yes and yes. I got a European mount done. He's only my 3rd biggest but the other 2 I got w a gun.

its been great but the heat in FL is making fishing difficult. its like fishing in a hot tub! you can only really get them to eat at the crack of dawn and at dawn.

Dawn and dusk u mean lol my buddy just came back from there did good on the reds

lol yea that doesn't make me look very smart. the reds are still biting if you got a good spot. but it seems like a week ago id go out on my kayak and limit out on trout. and this week its just been really slow and no one has got even caught a trout. weird...

Yea trout I believe are more temp sensitive. Have u tried any creek mouths?

does the mouth of a river count? because my normal trout spot is on the bay side of and island that was made where the river forks. so i guess i wouldn't say mouth of the river but pretty close.

then the only thing i can think of is they moved south to deeper cooler water. or deeper into the marsh land. there are still reds in that area but they are all small with a good one mixed in every now and then. any way hows the fishin' in your area?
