IMO I am a fan of bio-balls so to the OP throw them in.That is of course if you are looking for added nitrification. If you are looking to add to your di nitrification than the space you are using by adding bio balls can be better utilized

Sorry. I completely forgot about this thread and haven't visited the forums since i started it.
 
I gave away all my fish and am taking my tank apart, at least for now. I don't have the time to care for the tank, and felt bad about how I was neglecting my fish.
 
Thank you all for the help. I wouldn't have even started this hobby if it wasn't for this website (of course I would also have about $1500-2000 more in my student checking acount if it wasn't for this site). I don't regret the starting my tnak, I just wish I had time to care for it right now.
 
I'll be back probably in a year or so when I have more time/money to spare on my tank.
