Hello all. I have the hardest time getting a decent FTS. So went ahead and got a tripod as many suggested would help with taking a decent shot. Still not very satisfied with the result but thought I would share none the less. Would love to see some your FTS and also some suggestions on how to get a better FTS. Thanks, Tim

I LOVE your Crosshatch Trigger!!!
Great job on your tank! Here's my 125! (It is under construction...)
Tip: Something I try to do is have as much light as possible around and in the tank and use no flash while holding the camera VERY steady.

myerst22, beautiful fish selection. Especially like the Black Tang.
Here are mine 55 & 75 FOWLR's

Here is my 75 & 240 FOWLR tanks.n I need to take some more recent 240 pics as I lost my Lion and I have added a Red Coris Wrasse, about a dozen Damsels, my Golden Moray, etc..since.
But you get the idea, hard to capture well as it's 8' long and in a hallway.

Thanks for all the kind words. Still trying to get a good FTS. Going to try again tongiht. Anyway. Jake I think you can never have too much LR. Well you can have too much in the display. I would recommend putting some in the sump and also rearranging your rock. Having the rock stacked really tight like that will cause many dead spots, where fresh oxygenated water cannot break down waste. Also beneficial bacteria won't colonize as heavily in these dead spots. Also as a suggestion, try and not have the rock touching the back wall of the tank. This will also cause dead spots and hinder water flow through the rock. Also having space between the rock and back glass also gives fish a place to feel secure when they feel threatened. Hope this helps.
Harley. Hope your Dragon is still doing well. I on the other hand am getting a bit fristrated about whether I will ever get my dragon. Starting to get a bit annoying.
To everyone else. Keep the FTS coming. Thanks, Tim

Awesome setup trig!!! What do you plan on keeping in there? Tim
Thanks Tim,
Currently....Niger and Sargassum Trigger, Indo Harly Tusk, Sunset Wrasse, and Coral Beauty
I have 2 fish to arrive one week from today, one is my second try at a Black Velvet Angel, the other is a large and nasty Acanthurus Tang (TBD which one it will be... either Bariene or Sohal).

Bariene! ( I cheated off another forum.

So you read Goodwins thread on -- too

I still have time to change my mind actually, I chatted with Campbell on the phone for a bit, he is convinced I might regret not getting the Sohal. I like how rare the Bariene is, but I have always wanted a Sohal, I have until next Tuesday to change my mind.

Are you missing someone on that list, or is 'Late-Arriver' no longer with us?

Yes, unfortunately I lost the Mac Angel in my dumbest of moments in my SWF hobby life....Lets just say I won't be trying to get "cute" with my aquascaping anymore.

Yes I do!

They are both beautiful, so it will look good either way.

Yikes!
I've always been one of those, "Eh, he'll swim out of the way..." Definitely lessons learned....
FWIW, there is really only one Acanthurus
tang for me, and it's not a Sohal or Bariene, and even if a 240 is barely
adequate...... "Duss....."

Funny you say that, I actually was taking to the owner of that "online company that carries the rare Tangs" and asked him to rank those three.....He went Sohal, Bariene, then Duss
....Of course, too each their own, I like all three....
Did you see my pics I had in the "Fish Photography Forum" of the Yellow Stripe Tang at the Maui Aquarium, now thats a "man-sized" Acanthurus Tang.

I think that the Bariene will be awesome Kirk. The sohal is awesome, but they are NASTY...I think once you go bigger you can get both!
