Sick Clown...??Brooks??

I have two Clowns in my tank and they have been together for a while now. It seems like they might be starting to become mates. They still sleep apart but when the lights are on they are right there next to each other.

My little one seems to be showing signs of brooklynella. He has a slightly heavy slime coating and has been spending time close to the top of the water column. About the same time he started showing sings of HLLE. This is the first time I have had to deal with this and hate trying to diagnose fish problems. The other clown is just fine.(so far) What I have done is place him in a FW bath for 7 mins and then I put him in a bath of Para Guard for a little over an hour. He got some time in fresh salt water and then I put him in the DT again.

Short of hiding out next to a rock he is on the bottom and swimming just fine fighting the current. No real color loss. My other clown is down there next to him hanging by his side most of the time. When he turns just right, I can still see a small hazy spot on him.

I'm about to feed the tank shortly, so we'll see if he eats. Though he never lost his appetite to begin with.

Did I do things right? Or wrong?
Does anyone think I misdiagnosed him?
Sorry no pics of before the treatment, but I can put one up now if you think it would help. Maybe on the HLLE?

7 min In freshwater that could kill it

Sweet, so maybe I got a double attack on it.LOL

He wouldn't hold still for me so I did a short video of him fighting a K1. Its about 26-27 sec you can sort see the hazy spot I'm talking about. If the fish is facing you, its on HIS left side or YOUR right. Maybe this helps???

Edit;
Video deleted......

Brooklynella

Brooklynella is a parasite seen most frequently in clownfish, so its sometimes called "clownfish disease"; however, other fish are certainly susceptible to this parasite. The most effective treatment is formalin bathes. The procedure is discussed in detail in the FAQ Thread located in the Disease Forum.

levinjac;

It looked like the pics you posted but not as bad. It didn't cover his whole body. I have tried to edit your pics but I can't transfer them.

Do as MEOWZER posted
Thanks. I got the Para Guard cause of fear of using the formalin. I'm under the impression that formalin is hard on the fish.
Oh, boy. He's gonna be hard to catch now that he feels better. Sigh....

I feel the same way. At least there is a vet to get in the mix if I need them too.

These little guys were "supposed" to go in my new setup. I hope I can get them all better. Maybe I should place them both in QT before the new tank. Then I can treat them both and not have it pop up on me in the new setup?
