I have been able to keep the temp in the hospital between 65-69 with just a fan..,.so I did not hook up a chiller....BUT the water change water is a different story...SO here is how I cooled it
I took 5G's out of large brute into a large bucket, and then added 6 ice packs....LOL...I save the ones that come with shipments
this worked GREAT!!!!!
I am about to do the w/c...then feed.....then medicate......sigh
water looks a tad cloudy......I have been feeding PE Mysis in the a.m.....and the regular mysis in the P.M. I think I will skip the PE, and just use the regular...even tho I rinse it really good, I DO notice a big difference in my rinse water...gets kinda milky (YUCK)

How's she doing this morning?
She seems ok Rick....she ate, but WILL NOT leave the anchor....I think tonight I will try to take her off so I can get a better look at her tail....It seems to look better, and Ithink the eye is slightly better too
The treatment is supposed to be 3x...that would have been yesterday...I am not sure if I should do a 4th or not....I AM NOT gonna rush this, and want to be careful too

THIS IS FREAKIN HILARIOUS!!!! I picked up my 6 year old grand-daughter to spend a few days with me....we get home....I immediately go to the fish room and check the tanks....she sees the horse in the hospital and yells out HEYYYYYYY WHAT IS SPONGE BOB'S HOUSE DOING IN THERE?????

WELL I took her off the anchor tonight to get a better look at the tail.....there are still some small bubbles, and the eye has not subsided all the way.....SO I treated again tonight, and will continue the 50% w/c's and meds until the bubbles are gone

I would, too. No point putting her back in the dt if she still shows signs of illness. Glad to hear she's getting better, though!!

I wonder why she is so susceptible to getting those bubbles, when the others are fine. She looks great....... and beautiful, by the way. Your such a good seahorse mom. LOL...are you going to let her keep her new house? You let her keep the anchor.
