Silversides for fishing

No offense but you guys use some really bad catfish bait. Dough balls, livers, stinkbait don't come close to being as effective as sucker minnows and frogs (for a real catfish not those little 1/2lbers).
Most people don't realize a catfish is a predator first and scavenger second.
Frogs out perform suckers, suckers outperform cutbait, cutbait outperforms crap --- but if you want to catch some small catfish I suppose it's ok but then you stink. Rednecks swear by it because their rednecks and it's a rednecky thing to do

you're missing the point, those 1-2 pounders taste the best... Just like if you want some pork you shoot a young femail hog, instead of the alpha male...

Got that right. The bigger ones don't have all the good flavor of the 1-2 pounders. Now ya'll are making me hungry for catfish. lol

IMO, frogs are great bait, most big fish will go for them to.
BTW, speaking of fish, im having walleye for dinner, cant wait

Heck you know whatever is good bait for monster cats? Rats... I used to take care of my uncles property, and whenever we'd find a rat while mowing or something. We'd stick it, then toss it into the stock tank. And in a few minutes a giant cat would take the whole thing...
