i would give it more than a couple days... phosphates probably wont show up on a test cause algae eats phosphates. how much and of what do you feed?

ALSO...what size tank, what filtration, powerheads, stock list.....there are so many reasons/causes for the dreaded slime
and sooooo much to be done to get rid of it.....water changes, siphoning it out, etc

my stock list is:
i yellow tang, 1 flame angel, two percula clowns, 1 lawnmower blenny, 1 cleaner shrimp, fighting conches, various inverts
I have a 75 gallon tank with a 50 gallon sump filled halfway up (so basically 100 gallons total) with a remora skimmer and a scrubber. It just showed up for no reason out of the blue.
