I want to put a tang in my 75 Gallon reef tank. But, I want one that will stay small. My wife and I really prefer not to have large fish. Are there any tangs that will stay under 4 inches? I don't want them to ever feel cramped.

Besides the above mentioned, an eibli mimic tang stays small.

Unfortunately, definitely not. Acanthurus tristis maxes out at 10", and most should reach at least 7".
All tangs become decent sized fish. As mentioned above, Bristletooth tangs, or tangs of the Ctenochaetus genus, are your best options.
im only going by experience, not by what is said on fish sizes, ive had my eibli mimic for about 4 yrs and its in a 450 gallon tank with other tangs, and its very small about 4 inches.

Have you considered a Dwarf Angel?
+1 definitely a better option if you don't want anything big.
If you must have a tang, stick with a Kole as mentioned above. I'm glad to see that no one is mentioning the Yellow Tang, which really would not be a good fit.
