I have had 3 snails die in the past week. What could be causing this I did test nitrates under 5. No ammonia, No nitrites.

I had some snails die off once. Turned out my phosphates were high. They just fell of the glass one at a time, until I got it under control. Hasn't happened since. HTH

I have another snail that appears dead. He has not moved in 2 days I pulled him out no bad smell, but I did see some bugs and worms come out of him when I took him out of the water. Is there anything that will kill snails. I had about 5 or 6 now I am down to 3 and one doesn't look good... Is it a possibility they could be starving I dont see much algae in my tank..

Its a possibility but not likely. I don't think they would die all at once. Maybe something else. Any problems with your other inverts? Maybe the salinity?

Did you just get the snails? Maybe they did starve in transit and there just isn't enough in your tank.... I don't know other than that. Stuff happens. I still don't know why 2 peppermint shrimp died in my tank. My water has been perfect since setup.

I don't know what to tell you. Sorry.... Stuff dies sometimes. Keep an eye on your other inverts just in case whatever it is spreads.

Starvation, low Salinity, rapid Salinity fluxuations, and Copper are the most common snail killers. Sorry I can't be of more help.
