How long have you had the tank setup? What other kinds of things do you have in the tank already? Is the location you are getting your snails from reputable? What do the snails look like when you notice they are dead? Just trying to narrow it down.

How long are you acclimating them? What is your temp? They prefer the water on the cooler side. Also, if they fall off of a rock then they will not be able to right themselves. They will stay that way, which opens them up to predation.

do emerald crabs like to feast on snails when they are upside-down?

Well that could be the problem then eh?
It could. Mexican turbos have certain needs, not to mention that they can just fall off of a rock and need to be set the right way. They are great algae eaters though

When snails fall over they can't get themselves back upright. This leaves them vulnerable easy targets. You need to manually place them back upright. If you don't look around your tank a few times daily then you're sure to miss an upside down snail. I have like 3 hermit crabs that have acquired Astrea snail shells as their new home. Hermit crabs will also try to topple and kill snails, for the food and for the shell.

aclimation was about 45 mins for the first and 30mins for the second. my water stays around 78-80* when I see them fall or see them upside down i flip them back over...

I only see the shrimp going after the dead on in the front of the tank... the crabs stay away for the most part. and no I dont think it is the king one.. the shell looked like it, but if it was... wouldnt it be the one doing the killing??

...turbo snails and conch's look nothing alike.
Most likely they are falling over and being eaten by someone in the tank while you're not looking/asleep/gone.

well I wish I knew it was somethign eating them,..... but it is still in its shell... I think that there just isnt enough for them to eat.. so I got a couple smaller turbos today to add to the one i have left
