snails

I don't know if anyone has an opinion on snails, but I just got my clean-up crew and added some mexican snails. All I feel like I'm doing is turning the mexican snails over, because they keep flipping and can't get turned over. Does anyone else have this problem?

That's a common problem. The amount of diatoms they consume make it worth the excercise to some people.

buy some trouchas snails as they can turn themselves over if they fall. They are a little more expensive but they last allot longer and they are fantasitic cleaners

How many Banggai do you have? Are they social fish? What other fish are they compatible with?

The trochus is what I'm talking about. They won't turn themselves over, and then they just get eaten by hermits.

trochus CAN upright themselves, but many cannot tell the difference and sell them as turbos or mexican turbos or mexican trochus, or vice/versa
