Snowflake Eel question ??

I got a snowflake eel, as a gift . Tiny 5inches maybe less

It acclimated well and went to the rock work right away I observered it all night and now two days later I cant find it .

Have looked on floor, behind tank , and under some rockwork intank.

I don't want to remove all the rock to find it ,

?? How long should it take to come out of hiding ? ?

a couple days. They will eventually find their way to the carpet unless you have every gap in the tank sealed.

This is true. They will escape threw the tiniest hole. Generally when feeding it should come out if its in there

Thank you guys , Yes I remember my mom had one and it escaped all on its own a few times, ill keep my fingers crossed and keep the light defuser on . Hopefully it will stay in the 125. ill post a pick when it pops out .

Mine did the same thing! I thought it escaped and was looking all over the place for it like a maniac. Eventually resurfaced like 2 days later when he got hungry.
