So here goes another nano tank for the 5th time in a row...:P

so as you guys can remember i had a 3g pico with t5 lights. so i found out aquamedic had LED for like $25 for 3 one watts?
so i have the sand, rocks, and t5, and the filter. ima be using my water and a few lr from the big tank so i can cycle it faster.
ill do a 1g or half of water changes weekly. filter will be a aquaclear 70 since i was able to get one for free other then that gotta see what led will be good. nothing special on corals just zoas, rics, and LPS. will do sps but gonna see if i even find a LED that will work.
i saw that evil par 38 everyone loved? what light will be good for a 12" inch pico tank. i have the tank now. just dont know what to do with it. i have so far as in inverts:
6 sexy shrimp
2 pom pom crabs
2 harlequin shrimp
all in my shallow tank that will go to the tiny tank but what else? what lights? so much to do!!!!

i would choose a PAR38 bulb from rapid led. it gets more spread than the nanotuners led.

actually i ordered the aquaclear 70 on the bay so im waiting on that. and i got the purigen and chemipure ready. also as for the LED idk what im doing. i still think the aquamedic since they are cheap and its 2 whites and one blue i may do 2 of those. here check this out:

wow those are sweet nissan! Do u know how much they cost? My par38 was like $120. It comes in 12k or 20k. I would go with ecoray or ecoexotics...u like the white lights? i like the blue and purples. Cant wait till u get this up and going. We want pics as u already prob know.... guy at the lfs has a 3g pico, its more like 2 after he stocked it and honestly it looks like a sweet lil system. I have yet to see it in person though =( He said I HAD to come check it out lol....

they will cost $25. i dont like the white lights but the one they have the colors look really nice. as always i can add blue leds to add more blue. but like Mark said no sps will go in just zoas, and paly.

ya thats wat im doin w/ mine. Just zoos and palys! its gonna be frag tank hopefully. I plan on doin 2-3gal water changes once a month. I have a fuge, but no skimmer yet. not much maintance on a lil 3 gal lol.

just a aquaclear that was modded into a fuge. Its really simple. Theres a bunch of threads out there on it! Just google aquaclear refugium mod. All i need is a sm light and some chaeto. I'll prob be getting this this weekend. Check out my thread if u get a chance. 10gal nano by 1guydude

yea i did it along time ago plus its stated above that im doing the same thing. but sure thing ill pass by now.
