O the pistol shrimp is very much alive and well ha ha. Its burrowed under the left side of my tank. See it once and awhile, but its gotten so bright red. The goby unfortunately has been living on the right side of the tank so i doubt they'll ever for the symbiotic relationship. It would be nice though! ha ha but they both add a lot of character to my tank i love them both. The pistol shrimp was so cool to watch a month ago, when he hunted and killed a hermit crab. A little hermit fell onto the opening of his hole and he came out and dragged the hermit down into his lair and "POP" "pop" "POP". It was cool to see nature in action, although i felt bad for the hermit crab that i scared off the rock to land to its death.

TIME FOR AN UPDATE!
ok everyone ive just added another huge piece of LR to my tank, along with a bunch new corals. Other than the corals, i also added something ive water awhile, a rose bubble tip anemone! along with that is a green favia, a couple frags of acans and a brain coral. all is going well. my mangroves have rooted and started to really grow nicely. nitrates have disappeared, and all fish are healthy and happy.

well man, im not sure how long this lil trek has taken me lol but i just read through all 5 pages, the tank is lookin great man, it was awesome seeing you go from the 55 to the 75, an it was kinda sad to hear about your kole dieing, but, thats parta life, right? anyway, the tank looks spectacular, and my gf is now telling me she wants a reef instead of a fowlr lol, thanks a lot

hey thanx man, its been a fun , hard journey soo far. But its alot of fun and learning, but the rewards of a reef tank are really awesome. thanks for teh read and keep checking up on my diary, youll find more pics to come!

NEW STOCK!
i just received and acclimated my purple tang. BEAUTIFUL fish from my LFS. Also i grabbed an anemone crab. Kind of a cool little guy for sure.

Kinda bummed i couldn't take any today. i Had a bulb blow on me today. darn E**Y special POS haha

dude, i love that tang, he's gorgeous, im lookin at gettin a cherub angel for our 40g, but, for my big tank, im goin with the Watanabei Angelfish, beautiful angel, an they're a schoolin angel
