Everyone is knocking this company for being somewhat inovative and creating a new product that has some incredible benefits, low radiant heat, longlife, variable output with timer. I've been to several of the industry tradeshows and talked with the owners and developers, yes, they had some issues but they have worked hard to resolve eveything and they do have lots of documentation with respect to growth, my next lighting system will be the 72" solaris that I'll probably purchase in Sep
I'm sorry, I forgot that you know everything......
This tank at the lfs is the managers personal tank. I am fully aware of what it takes to get good growth out of SPS.
When he took his halides off of the tank and put the Solaris on, the growth slowed tremendously. When he added a halide, the growth picked up. What else is there to say?
Don't make ignorant comments about a tank you have never seen without first asking what the tanks setup is like.
FYI.........
92 Gallon Corner
2 - Tunze Stream 6080s
Reef Devil Deluxe Skimmer
40 Gallon Custom Sump/Fuge
Return Pump (not sure what brand)
Deltec Calcium Reactor
This is just what I know from memory. If you would like I will go up there this weekend and take a picture........since you don't believe me.
