Sorry hun, but that generality doesn't apply this time. I'm against abortion morally, but feel it should be legal. No one person can say who does or doesn't 'get' abortions (trying to decipher someone who was raped, from someone trying to just ditch a child), so everyone that wanted to, should be allowed. I am favor of strongly encouraging other programs however...
As far as who cares, it's the way Phelps built his image. That of a good, clean, wholesome "American boy," not a drug user. Families what someone that their kids could look up to. If this was Ron Artest or some other punk, then honestly no one would care...
first off, dont call me hun. second, of course it doesnt apply to every single person, i didnt say it did. and i dont want to start an abortion argument. all im saying is that i think its funny how someone will knock one thing but then use it themselves in a different form (basically the definition of hypocrisy...) not that im calling you a hypocrite, dont take it personally. im just noting that in my personal experience, this is how it works out 78% of the time.
and also, i wish i had a dime for every "good, clean, wholesome "American boy,"" ive seen doing something that would shock people. i dont see how this kid is any different. youre going to argue that he should set an example because so many people, especially kids, look up to him. who cares? hes a kid. let him be a kid. is he supposed to sacrifice his whole life to be the saint everyone wants him to be?
