I caught this thing in my tank. It looks like a bristle worm but the bristles are almost like hair and this thing is fast. It swims around like an eel. Any ideas on what it is and whether I should put back in my tank????

Google Phyllodocidae. The are predators. I would trade ya something to get that critter in my tank to photograph.
EDIT: K, there's not a whole lot of reading, so google images.
