gas, PM me the other site. I have a feeling I know what site it is but just want to check. I have one supplier that quoted $450 and perhaps the waiving of shipping charges.
It is up to you how you want to get here. The Philly Airport is about 45 minutes away. Email the definites soon so I can arrange a second cottage. My misses will be along also, so I'm thinking of taking the car and the truck so if the womanfolk get bored, they can do their own thing. Please let me know soon, so I can make all arrangements.

mattie your killing me with those pics! Im going away to Jersey for a few days and I will have to let you know when I get back on Sunday. The Manchester airport services to Raleigh, would this be the easiest way for everyone? The only problem is when I get one how to get it home.

bona, where did you get that one? Very nice catch!! He's a little bigger then I would like to transport but you gotta take what you get.
If you don't mind email me some info about where the tournment is being held. I can always find some time off
(being the boss has its advantages).

Mattie the tournament is this Saturday and Sunday out of Pt. Pleasant New Jersey. Its the first of the year with several more lined up in the next 4 weeks. I will save a spot on the boat for you as an observer Saturday if you can make it up that way. We plan on leaving the dock at around 4:30 AM . I plan on running out to Toms canyon , about 110 nm. away and there you can only expect to see large blues and hopefully a big Mako. Last year I had a 14ft. White within 200 feet of the boat. If you cant make this one then the others will run out of Staten Island NY and you can try one of them. Feel free to e-mail me at paweeky@bloomberg.net.

bona, I'll see if I can free up some time this weekend, I'll definitely let you know tomorrow. Even though they are some nice looking fish, makos and blues aren't what I'll want to put in my pool. That is way I seem obsessed with the bonnet and sharpies, all the fun of requiem sharks but in little packages.
gas, I'll send you an email later with some more info and the like. We'll see what we can work out. If this first trip is going to be a problem then we can always plan a second trip late July, early August (prime sharking time in the Carolinas). Let me know. As I said before, last year I was down in September and had a lot of success on small sharpies and bonnets.

Mattie if you'd ever like to set up a charter trip, I'd probably be interested too, maybe me and Cincy will ride together.

That sounds great to me... Unfortunately I know I won't be able to take off work until early September. Maybe we could work something out around that time... I know the chances for a hurricane are much higher then, but maybe we can get lucky?

Unfortunately the jeep's transfer case broke yesterday morning, but by September I'm sure I'll have something lined up.
Cincy, how's your car coming along?

Sorry to hear that about the Jeep. Transfer cases are a pita but 4wd is definitely worth it. :)
It was coming along great... until I raced a bike on the highway about a month or so ago. Don't know bikes very well so I don't know what kind it was. We took the 3 count and we kicked at about a 40 roll... He had me by a couple car lengths when the car threw a rod at about 135 mph. I had the boost turned up to 24 psi on race gas but unfortunately the stock rods didn't hold. I'll try and get the pictures off my camera and downsized so I can post what the block looks like with a hole in it. Before the car blew, I ran a simulated quarter mile on a Mustang Dyno which did a 12.6 at 122 mph. Couldn't get traction (damn fwd) until 4th gear for the most part, and that was on 21 psi. The head should be back from the machine shop soon (surpisingly untouched except for a slight bend in the valves) and the new block just came in this week. So hopefully the car will be ready to go when I am suppose to take it to mid-Ohio in July (i think).
