your pictures always amaze me murphy.
Also it looks like your Phoenix 14K HQI bulbs look bluer than my 14k HQI bulbs. Are thePhoenix 14K HQI bulbs bluer than most HQI bulbs?

i'm curious about the pinktail as well. i've always heard bad things bout triggers and reefs. beautiful fish, though...and gorgeous display. Sure the photography enhances it a bit. definitely good at what you do.

thanks u know it actually comes over bluer than it appears to me in person... i dont know how to work my camera exactly to capture the true color they seem to come out a lil bluer than true to life but still pretty close....
Hot883 im not tryin to torture u bud lol just want u to see my lil lionfish!
the triggers done good in this tank.... overall there are a few reef safe triggers... reef safe in the sence they dont bother corals or other fish for the most part... they can however eat some of ur inverts.... i dont have any inverts so it doesnt matter and he hasnt bothered one coral or fish.... some other reef safe triggers are the Niger Trigger, the Blue jaw Trigger, the crosshatch trigger there are a few more but these are the more commonly seen in trade triggers
Kayak385 let me know when ur in seattle and want some frags by then i should have some very nice frags available
thanks everyone for ur nice comments and questions

Hey Murph, once again amazing pics. What size tank are your lion and squamosa clam in? From the looks of it, it seems like they are in seperate tanks. I would also like to know how big your lion is. Is he full grown? I also have a question about how you feed him. You told me before that you feed your tank everyday but every third day you give your lion a little something extra to keep it full. Did I understand that right?

How many years have you been doing SW?
thanks im glad u like the tank and lion!
ive been doing saltwater for about 3 years now.... started with a 100 gallon Fish Only tank then added some live rock to it with some inverts then a few anemones.... slowly into soft corals then LPS corals when i got more lighting in my old tank.... then a year ago i wanted to do more of the sps hard corals so i ditched the old setup and bought this new tank with all new equipment and setup what i wanted to be a tank that could care for all kinds of corals and help them live and grow like in the wild... so far its been doing very good all my corals have been growing/coloring up nicely and now its just sit back and watch them grow out and share some info with other fellow reefers when i get some spare time

hey thanks for the nice words on my tank.... the lion and the clam are all in the same tank i only have 1 tank is a 180G tank 6'x2'x2' everyone gets along nicely and seems to like the environment they are in....
as far as the lion goes shes about 3-3.5" and i believe she is full grown since ive had it for about 3 years now and its only maybe grown 1" and hasnt grown anymore.... i guess the females stay pretty small comparatively.... but dont be fooled if its hungry enought it can eat anything that it can swallow even if its longer than itself lol.... i do feed my tank everyday some mysid brine and other frozen preperations then every 3 days i feed my Lion and Trigger extra... this ranges from frozen cocktail shrimps to frozen formula 1 cubes that i thaw out then break it into smaller chunks... i found doing this helps keep these 2 fish peaceful and happy.... not to mention healthy
