Thanks for all the info Murph. I think I have decided to get a fuzzy lion. Its weird, in all of your full tank shots I never see your lion. Thats why I thought it was in a seperate tank. Is she nocturnal? If you could can you post a full tank shot that has your lion in view? Id like to see the size of it compared to your other fish.

let me try to find an old shot with the lion.... lots of times the lion will perch around in the rocks and such.... heres a showing him on the left side of my tank as u can see not a very big fish for being a lion

Thanks a lot Murph!
I think you have convinced me to get a fuzzy dwarf. One more question for ya... Would you recomned adding the fuzzy dwarf in early or late in the tank establishment?

i would add it as one of the last fish in your tank... when its in there early it will start to think that any newer inhabitant u r trying to put into the tank is food since they get really used to feeding time rituals and may try to eat a new smaller fish.... so IMO i would add last or as long as u dont add any smaller fish

beautiful pic's murph. I was wondering if you could post a list or give me a link of your equipt. on your tank. I always thought sps corals were very sensitive and with some of the messy fish you have it would be an issue. (lion and trigger) I think I might give the sps and clam thing a shot in my 210. Thanks!!

Hey murph, if you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for the pinktail? I went to my lfs today and saw one about 5 inches and as fat as could be for $60. Didn't know if that was expensive or not.

Hi Murph,
Your tank is fantastic! I am new to the forum/SW and noticed in a previous posts you are in the ventura/san fernando county area? I am in Ventura, are you anywhere close? I am just starting with a FOWLR tank and with any luck and patience moving on to reef tanks. Thanks for the great pics.

hows your leopard wrasse doing??? i want to get one for my tank but in the waiting process b.c i know it needs a mature tank.... how many cope pods does he go throw in a day do you think??? is that the only thing he eats or will he eat fish food such as mysis, pelltes.....ect
again, my just an amazing tank. its my idol for sometime when i go reef. i have it set up as a background on my computer

yes i use a MRC-2 calcium reactor MRC stands for My Reef Creations
it works great in keeping Calcium and Alkalinty stable and alot more cost effective and accurate than dosing my tank due to its large demand....it takes a lot of fiddling with at first but then it runs pretty smoothly i check the levels once a week then adjust from there to compensate...IMO a necessary piece of equipment on a larger sps/clam tank
