Here is my favorite quote form that article...
"Last fall, however, the high court refused to hear a separate Bush administration request to consider whether the federal government can punish doctors for recommending the drug to sick patients."
Because god knows that the Bush admin knows whats better for me than my doctors:rolleyes:

No but you do pay a tax on the seeds you buy...should be the same for pot. Just like you don't have to pay to drink the beer you brew at home, but you do pay tax on the brewing kit. IMO eventually MJ will be viewed just like beer, alcohol etc....just another recreational drug.

But I would only have to pay the taxes once... After that, I would be able to provide my own seeds. Are you saying that if pot gets taxed, the tax would be a one time fee on the seeds??? They'd never go for that, there isn't enough money in it.

I'm pretty sure they would come up with a way to make money on it. Plus I don't think that many people would really grow it, when they could just as easily go to the store and buy it. The only reason why it is so expensive now is because it is not legal, but imagine how cheap it will be when it is mass farmed, and you can go to the store and buy a pack of Marborlo "Greens"

i still think a lot of people would rather grow their own than buy something the government has produced. i know i would. look at all the stuff that is added to cigarettes.....
