My Yellow Tang bit off my shrimps antenna's it also tore up my feather dusters. Then I noticed it even started on my xenia. I am taking this tang to the store today for a trade.

After reading GoblinShark's post, I've been wondering....
A while back, I bought a huge rock of zoos (pick posted below). After a few months, the zoos were completely gone (see following pics). I attributed this as being poor lighting (I had 130 watts PC on my 29gallon), or bad water quality (was battling nitrates for a while).
Recently, I upgraded to a 55 gallon tank with a 400Watt MH and 2 VHO bulbs. I bought some Yellow Polyps last week, and noticed that their numbers are dwindling.
A few weeks ago, I happened to turn my bedroom light on in the middle of the night (my tank is in my bedroom), and I saw this worm about 1-1/2 feet long crawling around, which quickly crawled into a rock.
Could this worm be eating all my polyps? I've also noticed all my shrooms have disappeared as well, but not my Xenia, gorgonia, or GSP.
Any ideas?

They were just picked up and deposited a few inches from the entrance, a few snaps to shoo them away, then back to the den. This isn't the action of a predator. But as I stated, I've only had a few so my experience is limited.

I have two pistol shrimp and my other shrimp and crabs will walk right in front of the pistols w/o them reacting. I don't think they can see them. They also hide most of the time.

Since that post back in '02 I have seen a Pistol Shrimp hunt other Shrimp. It wasn't a Tiger Pistol though. My opinion still stands but only for Tiger Pistols, it seems there are species of Pistol Shrimp that can kill & eat other Shrimp.

I have a tiger and a carribean pistol shrimp. I noticed the oddest thing the other day. My carribean shrimp was in the blue boxer cave. I thought that may be a problem but the next day the blue boxer was where the pistol hangs out. What are they, buddies now?
That is the first time I have seen my blue boxer leave his cave in months. You only see my tiger every now and then since he stays buried.
