something hatched off my lr

i thought somthing was drilling holes in my tank
but i notcied that my lr was falling off like a egg. its first stared getting white wit a hole in it the next day it got big last night its was loose waving with the current and fell off this morning but when i bought the rock it wasent like that . it wa solid . i saw a weird thing look like a slug in my rock never seen it before it shot out his head real quick look like he was trying to kill my lwb anyone ever have this

I think what he means is, if you slow down and type slower, the message will be conveyed better to us and we might better be able to help you.

whats wrong with my note. i wrote it how it happen . something came out of my rock its was a solid rock then started turnign white and then it bubbled up like a egg next couple of days what ever it was hatched and the piece fel of my rock

ok i will say it over
the past few weeks a peice oflive rock started to get white . on the rock about 1 inch it started to bubble up . it kinda look like a egg inside my rock . it got bigger . about a week went buy and i notcied that it look crack open and a peice of the shell was waving in the current . and the other piece fell off. now there is a huge white hole in my rock. i also seen this thing stick his head out my rock look like a slug it seen as it was trying to eat my lwb anyone ever have this happen any ideas

Hey David,
Are these two unrelated occurances or did the 'slug' come out of the hole left by the 'egg'? Is LWB a LMB? What's a LWB?
I can only guess without a couple good pictures, but it could be a sponge that was growing in the rock. Another possibility is a rock boring clam was there, died, and started to disintegrate.
Can you describe the slug better? was it slow, fast, any distinguishing parts?

David maybe it is some sort of mutant growth resulting from your blatently overstocked tank and highly toxic water

david what is a lwb? we are tryign to help you out, but you seem to concenttrate on those who are picking on ya...If you answered Bang guy's questiosn we might be able to make soem progress. what do you mean that it looked liek an egg inside the live rock? Could you see throough the rock? was there a hole that was covered by somehtign, that was transparent? And what is this slug thing you are describing. what exxact;y did it look like? Any pics? Im thinking mantis shrimp as some of the others have, especialls if its agressive attackign you LWB9 what is that anyway???)

lion fish true, my yellow tang is doing fine . everything is doing fine. my manandarin goby didnt starve i have pods alot of them i just think he was stressed out. i got ridd of my file fish and my red sea sail fin tang i listened to everyone i ca take construtive cristism but some times people come out there face 2 much . i think my main problem was that i had my tank up for a year but a freind gae me 50 pounds of lr for free i dont think it was cured and i just added 40 pounds of ls . lawn mower blennie i made a mistake forgive me . i am at working and i type real fast

i dontknow if it was a slug it look slimmy though. i have never seen it again . i have been finding pieces of live rock all over know but i dont hear and clicking noise . the egg i dont know if it was . the rock was solid then started to bubble out and something must have came off it and next day half of it was hanging off like something broke out of it the other half was on my sand

I don't know where these people learned to read but I understood everything you said. I might be wrong, but it sounds like a bristle worm. They will eat away at your live rock and hollow em out. They also will get inside your coral and eat them inside out. I found one inside my open brain. If you find him again don't grab him with your fingers cause they pack a powerful sting. Other than that they look like a slimy slug.
