Preemies are wild strong. A 1-lber can beat my butt up one side of the side walk and down the other.

Thank you for all you do. It's nurses like you that kept me alive.
I take it you were a preemie.......My son was born at Westchester Medical Center... I am sure you know it :)

My son has a slight case of cerebral palsy...called spastic dyplegia....Thank God it only affects his lower extremeties and nothing else....he has some balance issues, which if he would do his exercise
, he would have more control of it....he is 19, and very smart...

So, what are the right words? Beautiful, amazing, awe inspiring, Miracle. None of them seem sufficient.
So many will never understand just how precious each little life is!!
Thanks, Renee!

Yes my nephew is more in the lower extremities. Also he is growing real fast so they had to go in and lengthen his hamstrings which was an excruciating surgery but has helped him a lot. He can now run and play pretty good with the other children. His was apparently caused by brain bleeds from being premature.

My son has had 3 of those surgeries....they also lengthened his achilles (??) and in one surgery the tenden by your groin (?? on name) I can only stress how important the home exercise is to him. When my son was younger, I exercised his legs 3x a day....it was very difficult cause it hurt him, and sometimes we both cried thru it....when he got older and had to do it himself it became a constant battle.....he didn't want to...it took too long....why do I have to....Well he now knows why he "had" to because he recently decided he wanted a motorcycle
.....his tendens are tighter then they should be and when he took the motorcycle course, he was told due to his balance he could not pass it (I was sad for him, but glad cause I didn't want him to get a motorcycle) ANYWAY....he had a bright idea he would go see his specialist...Basically he was told...TO EXERCISE!!!!
Sorry ....di not mean to go on and on.....BUT The best medicine for this is the CONTINUOUS exercises....
