I cant wait till someone invents a remote that will fry the stereo in the car next to you. Just point, click, and *poof*. It may be their right to listen to it, but it doesnt mean I have to as well.

I know can you just imagine. I would spend week driving down the streets taking out stereos left and right and doing the community a favor. Obviously, if my city passed the ordinance banning loud music, having that tool in police hands would put a stop to it. hear the music, click *poof* , citation !!!!!

Those idiots that spend all their drug earned money on a piece of crap of car that has bondo and torn seats, bad suspension, expired tags and no insurance, but have an expensive car system, should be taken out of the vehicle and a tractor should run over it. In front of them no less......
An easy jamming device can be made by using a 1kw linear amp to boost the output signal of a transmitter. The signal is usually strong enough to generate a harmonic which blankets their stereo with distortion. The range varies but is very effective at traffic lights.

I wish I had a decent home system. I used to be into car stereos. I had boston acustics speakers in my car with additional 2 tweeters. I had a JL 10W Zero and it was the perfect stereo. Clear bass balanced with clear treble. I sold it to a friend who tried to tweek the amp to get more bass and blew the speaker.

I agree....But it is annoying as hell to have someone beside you and all you can hear is there Tag rattling because they were to cheap to dynomat it..I cant stand rattling and being able to see wires...I could care less if it had 20 15" and 10,000 watts...If I can see wires its trash..
I have 2 12" Kicker CVR's..I run them on an old Alpine V-12 800watt..Loud as hell...I keep the bass down on -2 just so it sounds clear..
Every time I have had subs installed the people want to hear some loud bass-full rap...They always freak when I put in Poison The Well or some other crazy

Ok, not usually much of a showoff when it comes to this kinda stuff. I would have to think long and hard if I had to select between my home sound system and the reeftanks

.
When you hear flawless music reproduced faithfully, it's mindblowing. Here are my Martin Logan ascent "i's" with dual Martin Logan Grotto subs, equipment amp is OK, but better than most, "Elite" I have my eye on some Levinson or Chord equipment...
.
Acustics and spatial planning are essential with electrostatic speakers, even at ultra low volume you can feel the base in your chest, you can sense the singer moving around, the details are stunning. Granted I can probably break a few noise polution laws and do some damage to items in the house if I were to crank these guy to full level, thats not the point, it's the crystal clear, perfection of total music.......You can close your eyes and position yourself in the acustic center and you feel as if the music is surrounding you, subtle, very subtle but so realistic ......There's been a few times when we've cranked it all the way and you think your heads going to implode....LOL
.
.
I tend to listen to a lot of acustic music, even though I'm a geeky white boy, Rhianna has 2 songs on her latest CD that have incredible vocals # 7 & 9

i have eliminated about 95% of the ratteling on the outside of my car. my tags dont rattle either. the only thing that rattels on the outside of my car is my gas cover. but i am working on it. dynomat helps ALOT. and i dont think that i have my bass up too high. i love to hear the words too. plus the dynomat helps eliminate alot of the bass from escaping the car, so the surrounding cars dont hear it as well if there was none.
what can i say? i love my music. but i dont just listen to rap. i listen to most every kind of music. i even listen to counrty. the only music that i cand stand is jazz. i dont know what it is about it but whenever i hear it i want to smash the speakers.

A buddy of mine used to have 4 12" concepts in this little Dodge car...When the bass would drop..You felt short of breath..Like it was sucking all the air out of the car..
