We are fine with snow it's just the arctic blasts we get that we can't stand. Michigan is a jacked up part of the world, you can literally see all four seasons in ONE day. Last year in January (or maybe it was February) there was a good couple days where it was in the 60s but then the following day it dropped down to the single digits with wind chills putting us in the negatives but then the next day was warm again..... And then we went back to our normal 25-35 for a while. It was strange.

what are you using to edit your videos for cutting clips and stuff? also what camera are you using for filming. another question. Been wanting to make a video for some time. Does youtube just allow you to choose whatever song you want to put over the film?
everythings looking great btw! what is the green coral in the above pics

1. Windows Movie Maker which came free on my laptop (I have never used a video camera or editing software in life until last week) and if you fiddle around with it you can pick up on it pretty quickly.
2. I was a JVC Everio HD camera for the weekend ( it think it was like $500 and has the same foot print of a Iphone so its pretty awesome)
3. Make some videos its really fun and pretty rewarding
5. when you record a video you can do 2 things play the music on a stereo or whatever near you: easiest option and this will then playback with out your computer knowing its in there, an example would be if you check out those pipe videos of mine. Or you can put an audio file into the movie and adjust it accordingly: what will happen is youtube will pick up that you have added a video with copywrited material in it, now 3 things can happen. A nothing happens, B youtube will put a link (advertisement) for the song which will take you to itunes or something where you can buy it if you want to, or C owner of the song chooses to not allow the audio play back so your audio id removed which you can then go back in and re-edit.

Hey Rob, got registered on here so I'll be sure to start a tank diary. Pretty cool stuff. Do you have plans for a refugium on/in your tank? What are you running for filtration right now and did you remove or keep your bio-balls?

Awesome to see you on here! I do have a refugium which I drew a diagram for in this thread if you look for it, also IMO Nissan is a master when it comes to bio-cubes and modifying them, there is a great thread he started on DIY fuges so check it out I believe it is in the nano section.

Just read through the entire thread, epic nano tank.

Really helpful read, hopefully I can get a 20g started myself even though it might be a bit of a ghetto setup lol.
