SpendingDough Update

Hi everyone, It has been a while since I have been active on the boards I thought maybe some people might like to see the progress on my 240G system.
I don't think my original build thread is available so just a quick update.
Our tank conditions deteriorated while my wife and I went on our honeymoon to the Galapagos Islands and Peru.

It got to the point where we lost a bunch of corals and had an outrageous aiptasia breakout. We had thousands of them.

After some patient care and a couple months of working on them the tanks are coming back beautifully.

I just replaced all the lighting cause the new tank and hood just turned 1 year old. One of my ballast' just crapped out guess how long out warranty?......1 week, I think they are gonna replace it though.
Anyways I will put up some current photos maybe some older ones to too compare.
Enjoy

Aiptasia is a pest anemone that can spread like crazy if you don't get them under control. They will sting your corals and can bascially destroy your tank.
I see your name is SpendingDough ... I was wondering why the post was named that. Things are looking good and quit traveling for your tank's sake!

Man it was an awesome trip! Snorkelling with hammerheads at kicker rock. Then hopping in the boat and slaying some yellowfin!
