we just got a note on the door of our apartment saying they are coming in friday to spray as a prevention for pests. will this be harmfull to my tank??

It certainly can be and if I were you I'd insist on accountability if the pesticides cause problems for your aquarium.
I do not allow any pesticide use inside the house unless serious precautions are taken to prevent contamination of my reef. I even insure that steps are taken when we spray outside. I'd be very concerned about a even remote possibility of pesticide contamination.
But...maybe thats just me!:thinking:

well were going to try and refuse to let them spray, don't know how well that will go over
otherwise we'll tell them that they are going to be held acountable for possibly $1000's of dollars if anything goes wrong
