Starfish Eating Pictures

i figured since so many people ask about how to feed their starfish i would show you how i feed mine... on todays menu was some fresh cod.. you cans ee their stomachs starting to come out to digest the food..

great pics, its weird seeing them eat on the glass. I've got two chocolate chips, a brittle, and serpent. Its fun to watch a brittle/serpent grab the foot too.
What kind of stars are those? looks like one is a cc, what are the other two?

thanks everyone.. one is a choc chip one is a bahama and one is a red general.. i love my starfish, probably goign to add alot more in the future..
and yes, i do line them up for feeding, its just easier to keep track of who has a piece and who doesnt...

I feed mine mussels and shrimp. What kind of stuff do you feed yours? I've been thinking of adding to what I feed now.

haha thanks alot lion! im getting ALOT of stuff for my tank troday for the birthday bash!!
also i feed my starfish just liek i feed my other fish.. ALOT of variety...
i actually feed them mussels, silversides, clams,krill, shrimp, alot of different sltwater fresh fish fillets from thje market, squidd, octo, etc. etc
and as a treat, which you dont have to do but since it is part of their natural diet, i will give them each a mushroom
i have TONS of mushrooms and they pop off and relocate all the time so when they pop i will save at least three a month, one each for them as some "treat food"...

How big are the Choc. Chip and the Red General? I have two Choc. Chips and i also feed them on the glass. My largest Choc. Chip is about 5 1/2 end to end, the other is about 4 1/2 or so.
