Stars?

I was lookin at getting some things to help upkeep my sandbed and such. Do Pods help with Sandbed any?
Which of the following would be best for a reef tank?
Micro Stars
Sand Burrowing Brittle Stars
Short Spined Brittle Stars

Micro Stars (if they are the sand dwelling mini-brittle starfish) are great for reef tanks.
Pods definately help the sand bed.
