Starting a 20g what fish are good?

Well any tangs, angels or wrasses are defiantely out of the question,, the 3 fish and some cool inverts will about max out your bioload..

2 tank raised perculas introduced at the same time should be alright, but defitnately not the mandarin, these usually only eat pods unless you can get them to eat brine or mysis shrimp and then if yours only chooses to eat pods, you need to an established pod population that is constantly being replenished via a refugium. Or else your mandarin will starve to death.

Well the refugium will be a haven for pods and macro algaes to grow, then some of the pods will make it into the display via the output of the fuge.

A mandarin may not be the best of choices like stated before, but some dragonets will accept frozen foods. I would still recommend a large ammount of LR and fuge, but it is possible. Just make sure that you actually witness it feeding on frozen foods at the fish store before you buy it.

For what? to start a fuge? you have 2 choices, either small hang on back if you have room or a under tank fuge,, look in the D.I.Y section.. or search for fuge.. or you can buy one... easily can run into the $100's with the LR and MUDD or L.S... then adding the lights, macro algae and sarter pods if need be..
